Avachinsky is the most active among domestic volcanoes. Height – 2741 m, it is a dual “Somma-Vesuvius” complex construction. Travelers from all over the world admire the striking resemblance to the legendary volcano Vesuvius responsible for the death of Pompeii.
Meeting of participants
We meet at the appointed place with the rest of the group, check the gear and take the journey. For an additional fee we can arrange transfer from the hotel, ask for details when booking the tour.
Transfer to the base camp and back by specially prepared off-road vehicles. When approaching the volcano we overcome the Sukhaya (Dry) river.

There is a trail to the top of the volcano, climbing takes 6–8 hours. Along the way we admire the Pacific Ocean, Avachinskaya bay, Viliuchinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes.

Walk on the edge of the crater, drink tea, eat sandwiches and enjoy the beautiful views, weather and excellent company. Guides will share favorite stories about Kamchatka, tell about the volcano, and answer your questions.
Return to the base camp
Light dinner
To go back down is always easier than to climb up, especially when fresh fish soup of Kamchatka salmon and fragrant tea with wild rose are waiting for you in the camp. The descent takes 3–4 hours.
Return to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
Pleased with ourselves leave back to the city. Transfer takes 2 hours.
